LSO St Luke’s online

With its superbly realised marriage of 18th- and 21st-century architecture, LSO St Luke’s makes a fitting principal venue for Baroque at the Edge. A Grade 1-listed Hawksmoor church consecrated in 1733, it was restored and re-opened in 2003 as the home of the London Symphony Orchestra’s vibrant community and music education programme, LSO Discovery. As well as LSO rehearsals it plays host to a diverse selection of concerts and has seen artists and groups perform from across the spectrum: from Elton John, Sting and Bruce Springsteen to BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime Concerts, Asian Music Circuit and Dame Evelyn Glennie.
